As the name suggests a supply chain is a chain formed to move a product or service from producer to consumer.Supply Chain is team work of organizations, people, technology, activities, information and resources. Logistics is a channel of the supply chain which adds the value of time and place utility. Today the complexity of production logistics can be modeled to convert the basic components into a finished product so as to deliver it to the customers.
