ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN FOREIGN TRADE & ADVANCED CERTIFICATE IN SHIPPING & LOGISTICS.

The following are the minimum grade marks fixed by the Board in respect of the
ADVANCED IN FOREIGN TRADE & ADVANCED IN SHIPPING & LOGISTICS

40 percent Marks in each subject and
50 percent Marks in aggregate for Passing
60 percent Marks of the total for First Class
70 percent Marks of the total for Distinction

The methodology for teaching comprises classroom sessions, visits to Ports and related departments, visit to client office and discussions, workshops etc.

CLASSROOMS:

The classrooms are well equipped with OHP, Screen, writing Board, Good seating arrangements.  Certain Centrals classroom is air conditioned.

VISIT TO PORTS:

The visits are organized regularly to J.N.P.T / B.P.T (subject to availability of person)

VISIT TO EXPORT ORGANISATION:

Such visits are regularly organized to export houses.

WORKSHOPS:

Workshops are organized regularly on every Saturday afternoon.

The Institute expects the participants to maintain full attendance during tenure of the course. The students are also requiring to attending full all the classes on a regular basis. Absence without sufficient cause will lead to automatic expulsion form the course.

Note: 
The Institute organizes multiple batches at different location.  Since starting of each batch is having different dates, the subjects are different.
Any participant missing any lecture in any subject can avail the facility to attend he missing subject/lecture at other location, with prior written permission. 

On completion of each module - subject, it is mandatory for all participants to appear for Internal Test. Minimum expected marks should not be less than 65% in each subject for final examination, held by Board.
These test/home assignments are prepared by participants at home.  They can refer any study material they want.  They can use study material/notes or books from our library or any other library or  through internet.
Failed participants can reattempt to complete the same assignments.
Normally it is mandatory to complete these assignments with 15 days.
Delayed/repeated will be penalized.  The penalty is Rs. 100/- per default.

The Board will announce the date of receiving such application for the registration. Candidates should fill up the Examination entry from at least two months before the date of the examination indicating their registration number. The final program the dates, times and venue of the examination will be announced two weeks prior to the scheduled date of examination
Application Form for exam should be filled and signed by applicant.
Requisite fee of examination should be paid along with application.
Photocopy of registration/eligibility certificate from Indian Merchants’ Chamber should be attached with the application.
Delay in submitting above documents may attract penalty.  Subject to receiving above documents, Hall Tickets from IMC will be delivered by hand from office of the Institute.

At present the Examination are held at Mumbai Only

Secondly, individually, while collecting Hall Tickets from office of the Institute.
